Some words of wisdom

i should title this post do not delete as I deleted my other post with these in.

My precious Mom

My mom has been officially diagnosed with dementia.  It is something we have all known for a long time.  My family dynamics are not that great so I have one sibling who is in denial and two that don't treat her very nicely

Hubbie and I are her main care givers.  She lives one unit away from us.  It is not a easy road to travel but it is one I will do as I don't want to live with regrets when she is no longer here as then it is to late.  She is away at the moment and we are really enjoying the break.

The words of wisdom have not posted along with the post.  I will try and post them on a separate post.   

 

Life has really thrown me a huuuuuuuge curve ball rendering me without a income and the worst of it all it has been done to me by family. 

I have made my peace with what has happened and am moving on.

Fortunately for hubbie and me we can generate our own income.  We are needing to find ways to generate a  income from January - August as from September - when schools close is our busy season.


If you prayer please prayer for us.  The road is not easy and the future is not known but we know who holds the future.

My Word for 2013 - EMBRACE

This is the first time I have chosen a word for the year.

I have chosen the word EMBRACE as this  going to be a year of many new beginnings that I need to EMBRACE them.

Alive and kicking... I am back.

I have decided to give blogging another try.  For both documenting my story and my scrapping layouts.

2012 was not a good year on so many levels.  I am glad it is 2013 and a new year and a new clean slate to make new memories.

I have been doing lots of pondering these last few days and will be back to share my word (first time I have ever done this) and other things I have decided for 2013.
